There are lots of opportunities to get involved and have your say about the regeneration of West Hendon.
A Resident Regeneration Group (RRG), made up of residents from across the estate meet on a regular basis to share ideas and raise questions about all aspects of the regeneration proposals.
Representatives from Metropolitan Housing Trust and the Council attend these meetings to hear what residents have to say, make presentations on specific topics and provide answers to questions raised by the group.
All estate residents are welcome to attend the meetings. For more information about when the next meeting is taking place please get in touch.
The importance of the design and management of the new West Hendon is a major priority for the West Hendon Regeneration Team and for this reason there will be meetings, workshops, exhibitions, presentations and discussions open to all residents and stakeholders including subjects such as:
- public open spaces and streets
- landmark buildings
- rents and service charges
- the environment
- anti-social behaviour
- repairs and customer service standards before and during the regeneration
- leaseholder and freeholder issues.
