West Hendon Estate Regeneration is a partnership project between the Metropolitan Housing Trust, Barratt Homes and the London Borough of Barnet.
The regeneration project will provide up to 2171 new homes including new homes for affordable rent, equity share/ low cost home ownership for people on modest incomes and new homes for sale.
The new homes for sale will be the main source of funding for the regeneration, providing new affordable homes and much needed improvements in the infrastructure, roads, health, leisure and community facilities.
We believe that new homes should be available for a mix of tenures and that communities are more sustainable when housing is provided that meets a range of income needs catering for all life stages.
Start on site is planned for Spring 2008. It is estimated that the works will take about 10 years to complete in a series of 6 phases.
